OUR STAFF

A TEAM THAT CARES, LEADS AND BUILDS

At Pebbles Klopperpark Nursery School, our staff are at the heart of everything we do.

We believe that quality early childhood education is only possible when it is delivered by people who are not only qualified, but deeply committed to the children and communities they serve.

Our team includes both on-site staff at Pebbles Klopperpark, as well as central leadership that oversees all Pebbles Nursery Schools within Ukwakha Isizwe Foundation.

To ensure consistency, quality and growth across all our nursery schools, we are supported by a central leadership structure that provides academic guidance, operational support and oversight across all Pebbles sites.

Every member of our team plays an important role in helping children feel safe, supported and valued each day.

One of the most important decisions we have made as a foundation was to invest in people from within our own community.

Instead of only employing already-qualified professionals, we chose a different path:

We actively upskill individuals who come from unemployed or under-resourced backgrounds, equipping them to become trained, confident and capable early childhood development practitioners.

This approach takes more time, effort and investment—but it is central to who we are.

We believe in building long-term impact not only for the children in our care, but also for the adults who serve them.

Many of our staff members have grown from entry-level or unemployed positions into fully trained, degreed, experienced educators and support staff.

This is not just employment—it is transformation.

Because of this approach, our children benefit from:

Staff who are deeply invested in their growth

A strong sense of community and belonging

Educators who understand the environment they come from

Consistent care from people who are committed long-term

Our staff are not just employees—they are part of a shared vision to build stronger families and stronger communities.

Every teacher, assistant and support staff member contributes to the same goal:

Helping children grow into confident, capable and valued individuals.

WE DONT JUST HIRE STAFF. WE INVEST WITH PEOPLE WHO HELP US BUILD THE FUTURE.
